Dear subscribers,
I hope you’re doing well. As we approach the holiday season, Syria Weekly will be taking a break in publications as I take some time to recharge the batteries. A data update will still come out this week, and hopefully a video too.
I plan to post a large catch-up edition on Tuesday December 30, which will cover the most significant transitional developments but focus primarily on covering all ‘Conflict & Security’ incidents — as this is crucial to keep the datasets all up-to-date. From Tuesday January 6, all Syria Weekly products will be back up to speed, with the regular publishing schedule.
Thank you as always for your engagement. It’s been a historic and jam-packed year, but all in all, I think it is safe to say that there is clearly a lot more ground for optimism today than there was a year ago when the situation was profoundly uncertain.
All the best, Charles.
