Overall violence declines further across Syria, but signs of concern emerge regarding both ISIS and the anti-government insurgency.

Violence across Syria declined again over the past week, with a total of 56 deaths confirmed — 32% (18) of which were caused by unexploded ordinance (UXO). With that, the 38 deaths caused by direct acts of targeted violence represented the third lowest week of violence seen in Syria since Assad’s fall 23 weeks ago.
