Vigilante justice & targeting killings dominate violence; Israeli ground incursions escalate; & US-led raids on ISIS force a reduction in attacks.

The overall level of violence across Syria remained steady this week, with 54 deaths confirmed in total — 9 (17%) of which were the result of unexploded ordinance (UXO). That placed the past week’s 45 non-UXO violent deaths notably below the 2025 average of 55; as has consistently been the case for the past month.
