The overall level of violent deaths across Syria rose last week, with a total of 19 confirmed — compared to the record low of 11 deaths recorded the week prior. This week’s casualty level however, remains considerably below the average noted by Syria Weekly since October 2025, when Syria’s overall level of weekly violence has been on a gradual declining trend.
