Violence across Syria remained at all-time low levels last week, with a total of 28 deaths nationwide, 5 (18%) of which were caused by unexploded ordnance (UXO). That means that the last month has seen an average of 24 non-UXO deaths per week, which is significantly below the weekly average of 52 non-UXO deaths seen throughout the remainder of 2025 (not including the huge bouts of violence on the Coast in mid-March or in Suwayda in mid-July).
